Congratulations to the Kahibah Kings five Man Handicap Snooker Team who won the 2025 Tony Tamplin Shield after a decisive win over minor premiers Belmont 16ft No. 1 winning 3-0 at Newcastle City.
Richard Evans and Bill Shoesmith both lost the first frame but fought back to win 2-1 against Phil Mowbray and Peter McKenzie. Thomas Adnum and Matt Hawkins were up 1-0 when Bill Edwards won his game 2-0 over Sean Ellis to complete the major premiership win for the Kings.
Commiserations to minor premiers , Belmont 16ft (1) who had a great season. Chris Mungoven (ECBC 2) had the highest break of 53 during the season (negative handicap player) and James Berressford (Toronto Workers) scored 46 (positive handicap player.)
