It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Dave Atkinson who passed away this morning. Dave was a fixture for decades on the Newcastle Snooker scene and was liked by everyone. He was an especially sharp potter from anywhere on the table and always had a laugh win, lose or draw. He was a great bloke and will be sorely missed by all his friends at Newcastle snooker. Rest in peace Dave.
