Wangi Workers Club are the 2018 Premier League winner

Congratulations to Wangi Worker Club who defeated the Cessnock Comets 2-1 in the Premier League Grand Final. 2 of the 3 matches went to 5 frames and could have went either way. Wangi’s Rob Elsley took out the season high break with an impressive 123.

2018 Newcastle Snooker Open

The 2018 Newcastle Snooker Open will be held on the 13th and 14th of October at the Belmont 16′ Sailing Club and the Wangi Workers Club. This year there is a total prize pool of $3000 up for grabs. This competition is always well supported by local players as well as players from around NSW.

Congrats on reaching the Grand Final for our 2018 Premier League competition.

The venue for Thursday‘s final has been confirmed and will take place @ Belmont 16’s.

A number of committee members and / or qualified referees will be available on the night to adjudicate.

2018-19 Lightning Billiards starts 27/8/18

The 2018-19 Lightning Billiards will start on Monday 27th August 2018. Please find the draw here, and the starting handicaps here.

This season we have purposely reduced everyone handicaps by 50 points so now its a race to 100 rather than 150. If you are in the minus you need to score that amount then 100 points to win.

As there are only 4 teams again finals will be top 2 only after group stages.
