Congratulations to Belmont 16′ Sailing Club No.1 for taking out the 2016-17 Summer League. In a hard fought night with most matches going to 3 frames the Belmont players ground out a great win over the minor premiers, Cessnock Ex-Services Club No.1 in the inaugural ‘Summer League’ event. The 2016/17 Summer League Grand Final will be played between minor premiers, Cessnock Ex-Services Club No.1 and Belmont 16′ Sailing Club No.1, who beat Kahibah Sports Cannons and Cessnock Ex-services Club No.2 respectively. The Grand Final will be held at Wangi Worker’s Club February 15th at 7pm. As always spectators are welcome to come and watch some of the finest snooker players in the District battle it out.

NDBSA Treasurer, Luke Green and NDBSA Secretary, Grant Schubert will not be nominating for those positions at the 2017 NDBSA AGM. After 3 years in their respective roles Luke and Grant would like to encourage members to nominate for these spots, including the presidency, which has been vacant for some time. With a change in roles, the NDBSA Committee can continue to deliver new and innovative ideas to maintain a strong presence in the Hunter Area.
Please remember the AGM is on the 21st February at Toronto Worker’s Club 7pm. For those wishing to nominate please contact Grant Schubert at least 7 days prior to the AGM.
