Congratulations to the Newcastle City Over 50s Handicap Snooker Team who defeated Toronto Workers (1) to win the 2022 – 2023 Rex Smith Shield.

Gary Thompson became the seasons high break winner with a break of 54 in the last frame of the 23 week competition. Amazingly , Gary was the high break winner in 2022 with a break of 56.
