Congratulations to Belmont 16′ Sailing Club No.1 for taking out the 2016-17 Summer League. In a hard fought night with most matches going to 3 frames the Belmont players ground out a great win over the minor premiers, Cessnock Ex-Services Club No.1 in the inaugural ‘Summer League’ event. Well done to both teams in making the final. Thank you to Wangi Worker’s club for hosting the final.

Congratulations to Kahibah Cannons and Cessnock Ex-Services No.2 who will now meet Cessnock Ex-Services No.1 and Belmont 16′ Sailing Club No.1 respectively to see who will go into the 2016-17 Summer League Grand Final.

NDBSA Treasurer, Luke Green and NDBSA Secretary, Grant Schubert will not be nominating for those positions at the 2017 NDBSA AGM. After 3 years in their respective roles Luke and Grant would like to encourage members to nominate for these spots, including the presidency, which has been vacant for some time. With a change in roles, the NDBSA Committee can continue to deliver new and innovative ideas to maintain a strong presence in the Hunter Area.

Please remember the AGM is on the 21st February at Toronto Worker’s Club 7pm. For those wishing to nominate please contact Grant Schubert at least 7 days prior to the AGM.
