Congrats to Cessnock Comets who are the first team through to the 2018 Premier League Grand Final. Wangi Workers will play Kahibah Sports Demons to see who will join Cessnock in the Grand Final.
The following venue has been confirmed for Thursday the 13th September.

Congrats to Cessnock Comets who are the 2018 Premier League Minor Premiers. Cessnock will play Wangi Workers Club to see who will progress to the Grand Final. In the Monor Semi Kahibah Sports Demons will play Mayfield Bowling Club.

Wangi Workers to meet Cessnock Snooker in the Premier League Grand Final

The Cessnock Snooker Club will have a chance to defend their title when they come up against their last grand final opponents, and this seasons minor premiers, the Wangi Workers Club. The Grand Final will be held at the Belmont 16′ Sailing Club this Thursday, the 7th December at 7pm. Good luck to both teams and, as always, spectators most welcome.

Rex Smith Over-50s and Premier League Snooker Competitions

The 2017 Rex Smith Over-50s and Premier League Snooker will start Thursday the 29th June.

The NDBSA is also proud to announce that the following competitions now come with prizemoney attached as follows…

Currently the Tony Tamplin is $2500 – in 2018 the NDBSA Committee will look at a more even distribution of prizemoney across all competitions.
As is the case with the Tony Tamplin prize money, this money is for club equipment improvement purposes only and must be used by the end of January 2018. By utilising this prizemoney for equipment improvement purposes all NDBSA members benefit by playing competition snooker with better equipment.

F’awesome Cessnock Ex-Services win 2016/17 Premier League

The Cessnock Ex-Services Club has again showed their depth and skill in winning their 4th consecutive Premier League event defeating the Wangi Worker’s Club. However it wasn’t easy and came down to the deciding black, in the deciding frame of the deciding match. Well done to Cessnock. Richard Evans from the Kahibah Demons took out the season high break with a 70 clearance.
